Resembling a piece that would have been used in the Dark Ages, this utensil is crafted from buffalo horn horn. It is simple, yet has period flair, and will be a welcome addition to your utensil collection. Horn utensils are pleasant for the child as the material is relatively warm and soft.. This spoon is ideal for serving salt, pepper, mustard or even breakfast jams, honey and conserves. They are also perfect for eating boiled eggs because the horn spoon won’t tarnish over time from being exposed to the sulfur in the yolk (like silver will tarnish).

And your child will also love this spoon since horn utensils are pleasant for the child as the material is relatively warm and soft. We don’t add any varnishes or chemicals, so you can feel perfectly safe using our spoons for babies, children and adults. The horn spoon achieves its high gloss only by removing horn layers when we produce the spoons.

These natural horn spoons were hand carved on a lathe, and then shaped and moulded at high temperatures to fit perfectly in your hand
